Anthony Miller

Mr. Anthony Miller was born in Chesterfield County, SC on May 9, 1957 to the late Jerry and Roberta Robinson Miller. He was the youngest of eleven children. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Anthony was educated in the Chesterfield County Public School System and pursued a career as a muffler mechanic; he was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his job until he became ill. He was also a faithful member of Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He had a passion for music and would often play the keyboard and bass guitar. He was the lead bass guitarist for the gospel group The Swonees. Anthony was a man who had a friendly spirit. He also never met a stranger. Some of his favorite hobbies were doing yard work, watching drag racing and spending time with family. He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Baker Miller on May 3, 1978; together they celebrated 41 loving years of marriage. From this union they were blessed with five children. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Phyllis of the home; five children: Antwon (Florence) Miller, Antonio (Brenda) Miller, Tenille (Michael) Miller, Phillip (Lakeisha) Miller, and Felicia (John) Miller; one son in law, John Austin; three sisters, Willie Joe Miller, Shirley Little and Geraldine Miller, one brother, Eddie Deon Miller; sisters in law Wilhelmenia Miller and JoNell Threat; brothers in law, Curtis (Kantronice) Baker and Joy Baker; one godson, Jaylen Austin and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Gearlie Mae Miller and five brothers, Bobby Miller, Randy Miller, Theron Miller, Johnny Miller and Joseph Miller.
