Cornelius "C-Lo" Lopez Colson

Cornelius Lopez Colson, also known as C-lo by friends and Rabbit by family, was born on October 15, 1975. He was 47 years old when he departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
He is proceeded in death by his late mother and father, Clyde Julius Colson and Lillie Mae Cowan Colson, his late maternal grandparents, James Cowan and Bertha Covington Cowan Miller, his late paternal grandparents, Claude Colson and Helen Elizabeth Colson, and his cousin ‘niece’ Samantha Cowan.
Cornelius attended Salisbury High School. He was employed at Cooper Tire of Salisbury, an entrepreneur, and loved to go fishing. Mostly, Cornelius loved his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Gen. Claude Edward Bailey Colson, Atlanta, GA, Dennis Miller, Salisbury, NC, Mustafa Shakur, Greenville, SC, Stephen Colson, Concord, NC; his cousin ‘sister’ reared in their home, Linda Darnell Cowan, Salisbury, NC; his children, Travis Reddick, Xavia Partee, Raheem Chambers, Jaheim Colson, Nicholas Colson, all of Salisbury, NC; his grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
