David Allen Bentley was born on August 10, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late James Bentley, and Ruby Bentley.
He graduated from Bedford High School in Temperance, Michigan. He would then serve in the United States Air Force from 1982-1986. While in the United States Air Force, David attended Community College of the United States Air Force where he earned his Associates Degree in Communications.
He would spend 35 years serving his clients in the Insurance Industry.
David had an enormous love for music and used his musical talents often in the music ministry at Multiply Church, where he was a faithful member for over thirty years.
David met the love of his life Janice Hutchison at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly in 1982. David married his beloved Janice in 1985 at the church where they met and fell in lifelong love. The Lord continued to bless David and Janice with two loving and beautiful children Lindsay Christine who was born on December 13, 1986, and Andrew who was born on August 27, 1990. He was further blessed with the birth of his grandchildren, Joel, Rainan, and Selah, who melted his heart. David’s love for all of God’s creations translated into his newfound love for Mary and Martha, Janice’s rescue kittens. He loved his wife and adored his children and grandchildren, but most of all he Loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Luther Bentley.
David entered into his eternal rest on August 01, 2023, and he leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Janice Hutchison Bentley, his light and love of his life for many years, son, Andrew Bentley, and daughter, Lindsay Christine Bentley Stowers (Jared).
