James Miller

James Miller Sr. was born in The Angelus Township of Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He was the last living son of the late Clyde and Wilma Jane Pate Miller.
James attended Mt. Elon Elementary School and Pine Forest High School. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church.
James moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in February 1964 when he lived and worked for Delmar Printing Co. from April 1965 until he retired in November 2004.
James was married to Alice Baker Howard from December 1960 until June 1980. After retiring he returned to South Carolina where he lived to go hunting, deep sea fishing and plow his garden. He loved a good western movie.
James leaves to mourn: sons Ricky Miller (Lisa) of Jefferson, SC; James Miller Jr. (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC; daughter Catherine M. Reid (Carl) of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
