Jeanette (Rushing) Watts

Mrs. Jeanette Rushing Watts daughter of the late Lafayette and Beatrice Stanley Rushing was born on October 12, 1958 Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Jeanette peacefully and quietly answered the Master’s call on Monday, February 11, 2020 at her residence in Pageland, South Carolina. Sunset for our beloved mother came after a long and hard fought battle with her illness. Jeanette confessed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Gum Springs Baptist Church during her youth. She was employed at Hardees of Pageland where she was a dedicated worker and loved by many. She was also a nanny for many years. Jeanette was dearly loved and her memories are cherished by her two children Mignom (Tavarus) Thomas of Jefferson, SC, and Astrid Watts of Pageland, SC, three grandchildren, Jiana Thomas, Camiya Watts, and Dream Thomas, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and a dear friend, Brenda Dunlap. Jeanette is preceded in death by her sisters, Pearlie Mae, Jacqueline Rushing Covington, Margaret Rushing Robertson and one brother, James Rushing.
