Jimmie Lue (Alston) Dunlap

Jimmie Alston Dunlap, daughter of the late Willie Bert Alston and the late Mary Ann Merritt Alston was born December 26, 1944.
Jimmie was married to Cecil Lee Dunlap for 56 years. She and Cecil had a long and loving relationship. Jimmie was a person who never met a stranger, a person of many, many words. She was one who would give you the shirt off her back. She  loved children and always had something for the kids on Kennedy-Alston Lane.
Jimmie departed this earthly life on January 8, 2020 at her residence.
Jimmie was dearly loved and her memories are cherished by her husband Cecil Dunlap, daughter Jacqueline Dunlap of Islit Terrace, NY and stepdaughter Betty M. Maske of Polkton, NC, two sons, Cecil Ray Dunlap (Tammy) and Wilton Orlando Dunlap (Nancy) of Jefferson, SC. Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Three brothers, Grady and Lyndell Alston of Charlotte, NC and Berty Alston of Glen Cove, NY, five sisters, Cora Reed, Margaret Reed and Doreatha Dawson of Jefferson, SC, Barbara Blakeney of Charlotte, NC and Ola Hough of Upper Marlboro, MD, a host of nieces, nephews and friends, two devoted friends, Geraldine Rushing and Trindell Carelock of Pageland, SC.
